To assist you in the planning process we have broken it down into several stages. Remember, we commit to clearly stating our fees in advance, so you know where you stand.

Initial Discussion

No charge, up to 1 hour. This is where you get a chance check us out and we get a chance to see whether there’s anything we can do to help improve your situation.

The meeting involves a discussion about your goals and objectives, an assessment of your current situation, plus the pros and cons of different strategies that you might consider in the future.

Options Paper

The “Options Paper” is a report that illustrates, in a bit more detail, one or more financial strategies you might wish to consider. It is tailored to your personal circumstances but should not be taken as a formal product recommendation or Statement of Advice.

If specific products are being recommended or you’d like us to review your existing portfolio, then we will prepare a Statement of Advice (SOA); either instead of the Options Paper, or in addition.

Statement of Advice

All specific recommendations must be provided in writing in what is known as a Statement of Advice (SOA). The SOA provides a high level of detail to assist you in making an informed decision about specific products, changes or recommendations.

The preparation of an SOA, its presentation to you and then the making of further refinements based on your feedback, (if necessary) can take several weeks. Our mission is to first ensure we fully understand your situation and then explain things fully so you feel comfortable and in control about proceeding to the next stage.


Should you request our assistance in implementing some, or all, of the recommendations in the Statement of Advice, then we will be happy to assist. This could involve a range of tasks, including…

  • consolidating your super accounts
  • establishing a new super or pension fund (including self managed super funds)
  • assisting with Centrelink claims (including joint Centrelink visits where required)
  • liaising with your accountant or solicitor
  • completing insurance paperwork and monitoring to completion

Ongoing Reviews

The ongoing review service is designed to provide you with peace-of-mind in a changing world.
